Capital Group is looking for social enterprise, private or voluntary sector organisations who are helping unemployed people.
ReplyDeleteThese organisations are often creating jobs, sometimes without realising it and often without any help or funding from the Government.
We have come across some amazing organisations who are taking initiative to help unemployed people by providing training, jobs, or work placements for them within their own business, which may be something like producing a magazine or a website which is earning money but it may not be enough to cover all costs.
We are trying to group these organisations together to put in a joint bid for Government funding under the Future Jobs Funding initiative as we really believe that those organisations who are being proactive and taking initiative themselves should be supported to grow so that they can help more people.
Capital Group will manage all the paperwork and write the application for funding and we will not charge a huge management fee for this. We also do not charge up-front fees and any fees are taken out of funding generated. We aim to be an ethical managing agent and we always have clear contracts in place to protect all parties and to make sure that everyone benefits from the scheme.
If this fits with what your organisation is doing, please get in touch. Deadline for applications are 30 June 2009 so we need to hear from you ideally by first week in June.
Please tell us what you think about this? Where does real job creation come from; the private or the public sector?
At Capital Group we believe that the private sector and social enterprise has a huge part to play in stimulating the economy and we believe the Government should be supporting private and social enterprise as well as the public sector.
